Vyond Microlearning Video 2023; Ginger Beard Coffee

About: This short, animated video infomercial seeks to quickly and humorously inform customers and bystanders about the specifics of nitro coffee: what it is, how it’s made, and why people are choosing it as a non-sugary alternative to other caffeinated beverages. This will attempt to decrease in-house inquiries (saving time during peak business hours) and increase positive conversion from laborious beverage orders to efficient, velvety smooth nitro coffee pours; a potential 75% savings in total service time.

Target Audience: Coffee drinkers 18+, primarily in the 18-35 age range (as regional data shows 57.2% of coffee enthusiasts are in the 18-24 age group alone), including drip coffee drinkers, specialty coffee drinkers, whole bean buyers, and drinkers of caffeinated tea beverages.

Importance: The video infomercial displays the founders in their original likeness (as seen in previous advertising), with collaboration from stakeholders on the company voice, theme, and design conversion. A supplementary QR code is given for the video to easily be incorporated onto in-house signs and promotional materials.

Authoring Tools: Constructed and edited entirely within the Vyond video studio, with voiceover produced in WellSaid Labs. Characters and artwork depicted are adapted from the clientele’s previous advertising campaigns and merchandise, with introductions of newer depictions aided by Canva and Adobe Illustrate. Trello and reMarkable were used for storyboarding and iterative design.
