About: The hiring recruiters for filling the staff of the technical team at X company are responsible for hiring excellent people using deep technical interviews and a focused, multi-faceted strategy. Past recruiters stemmed from the technical team itself, and thus possess a foundation for the specialized aspects of the positions they’re hiring for. On the contrary, newer additions to interviewing staff have a primary foundation in HR; this, coupled with an outdated compliance curriculum has resulted in a lower-than-industry-standard quality and quantity of technical team hires. This training is aimed at refreshing compliance protocols, offering concise, clear direction in which technical skillsets are currently desired, and how to properly conduct a successful interview using the 3 P’s of the hiring process: People, Preparation, and Purpose. These goals will feasibly bolster the client’s aim of hiring 2,000 new members to their technical team within a 1-year span if the hiring staff and new recruiters have an understanding of compliance protocols, are able to recognize skillsets desired in candidates for the technical team, and can successfully conduct hiring interviews following the ‘People, Preparation, and Purpose’ model.
Target Audience: Primarily the newer hiring recruiters (~35 yrs. in age) with a background in HR over technical training; recruiters are distributed throughout the US.
Suggestion:: This course is suggested to be developed in Articulate Storyline due to the advanced animations, assessment functionalities, and diverse operations needed to accomplish user navigation for an L2 or L3 complexit; Wellsaid Lab is the primary suggestion for voiceover (VO)., 2 short graphic videos could be created in Powtoon, Camtasia, Vyond, etc. based on budgeting and timeline for project production. It would be published in a SCORM-compliant file for the host site’s preferred LMS.
Recommended Deliverables: 1 Design Document and 1 Storyboard, 1 eLearning module (L2 originally desired—recommend L3 given amount of comprehensive content in short time span), 1 digital/printable job-aid, 1 VILT rubric for experiential training, 2 graphic instructional videos, and one summative assessment.
